Can the party survive the political maneuvers, especially now that the rate at which party members are defecting to the ruling party APC is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria's politics.

PDP's Chances of Winning Presidency and Unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and a PDP chieftain, the party's chances of winning are slim unless it changes its zoning system.

Challenges Facing PDP

Factors in Favor of PDP

APC's Strengths

 As the ruling party, the APC has access to state resources and machinery, which can be leveraged to maintain its hold on power.

¶Opposition Weaknesses The APC can capitalize on the PDP's internal conflicts and leadership crisis to further weaken the opposition.
